Hallo Eve of Destruction Vietnam Mod Veteranen, wir laden euch zum vorletzten 11. Charlie don't Surf Event in 2019 ein!

Start ist der erste Samstag, 02.11.2019!

Wir hoffen ihr hattet einen schönen Herbstanfang, in Deutschland scheint der Sommer vorbei zu sein? Der Herbst Maschiert ein.
Nun ist der erste Samstag im Oktober ist im Anflug, wir laden ein das 11. "Charlie don't Surf" Event 2019 auf dem hslan Server mit zu celebrieren. Denkt bitte daran, das Charlie don't Surf Event startet jetzt immer jeden ersten Samstag im Monat, da der Tag am Wochenende bei den Spielern am besten passt.

Beachtet bitte, dass der EoD Server hat letzten Sommer die IP gewechselt, fortan muss man jetzt die IP Adresse von Hand eingeben um wieder auf den [HSLAN] EoD Server zu gelangen. Leider beheben sie es nicht, deshalb müsst ihr den Server unter euren "Favouriten" speichern. Geht rechtsoben auf "Eigene Filter", wählt die Mod "EoD" aus, macht ein "update" von eurer "Server Liste" dannach habt ihr den HSLAN EoD Server erst einmal sichtbar in der Liste. Danach müßt ihr den Server nur noch in euren "Favouriten" speichern und dann taucht der HSLAN Server jedes mal auf, wenn ihr über "Eigene Filter" euch die aktiven Server von der EoD Mod anzeigen lasst. Leider funktioniert es nur über diesen Weg.

Hi friends of the Eve of Destruction Vietnam Mod, let's celebrate the 11th Charlie don't Surf Event 2018 at November, we play each first Saturday in month!

We hope you have a great out there your home your home? In Germany there seems to be its Atumn. You are invite for the 11th time in this year on the first Saturday in month, because Charlie calls:  "Charlie don't surf time"! The HSLAN Members have got changed the "Charlie don't Surf" day, from the first Friday to first Saturday in month, due to the fact that it works better to play mid in the weekend. The hope is to reach more people outside for visit the HSLAN Server. We just hope you like it? Feedbacks welcome in our comments after all News.
 

The EoD server changed the IP last summer, now you have to enter the Server manual, via select the Server IP and tip it inside the text box. The HSLAN Members tell us, "they don't fix it." Thats why you have to help yourself with this tutorial in easy Pictures made for you.

Saturday night, the 02.11.2019 at 08:00pm CET o'clock we go, coat it on thick in your calendar or mobile Oragnizer.

For this new year let's rock that 10th Saturday mainevent on the HSLAN Server. And we will hope to collect the power of the community.

In addition, we visit the server daily in the evening from 08:00pm CET! If do you want, you can meet us with some guys there.

So please not only hold the date on the event, which takes place every first Friday monthly, come one evening you can spontaneously.

This tournament is hosted by SiMPLE. tuia kindly agreed to start a server for this event, which should be live on Friday. Many thanks to him!
After discussing with a bunch of players, I have decided to start a new Mini League season. Since the last two season were infantry seasons, this time it will be tanks only.
The rules are basically the same as the previous infantry competitions, but for tanks. Tank maps will be Conquest, and 2v2. There is a possibility to play 3v3 matches, if both teams agree.

Rules and general info
 
- No camping main bases with tanks
- Only tanks can be used to kill your opponent, all other weapons will be disabled
- All camera views are allowed
- Game mode is Conquest only, for all matches
- 8 teams of two, three or four players
- 20 minute rounds, two rounds per map and two maps per match
- All contestants must wear their team tags during live league matches
- Screens must be taken after each round by team leaders. No screens = the match doesn’t count
- Recording is not mandatory but highly advised for everyone in the competition
- No ragequitting during matches will be tolerated. Doing so will result in a penalty for the offending team
- No ringers are permitted
- No chatting during live matches (using k) is permitted except for “gg” and wishes of good luck before a match
- Teams must engage themselves to play all their league matches
- No locked maps, a team can choose the same map throughout the whole competition if they wish
- No cheating of any kind will be tolerated. The league server will have PunkBuster enabled. Cheaters will be removed immediately from the competition and their team banished
- Running your game in Windowed Mode is not permitted for anticheat purposes
- One referee per match, his/her role will be to film the whole game. Individual recording of the matches is also highly advised.
- Match days are flexible, going from Thursday to Sunday. We will try to have all teams have one match every week, so the competition doesn't drag on for too long
- After season cup with the four highest ranked teams at the end of the season

- No switching teams during the season
- All teams must show up at their matches. No forfeit wins are accepted, if a team can't play their match on time, they will do it when they are available but will receive penalty points
- Same penalty system for offences is applied for this competition
- The competition will be hosted on tuia's server (server details TBA)

Point system

The point system in this league is identical to the previous Mini League infantry competitions. The most important thing to remember is that the victor of a match is determined by the total number of tickets, not the amount of rounds won.
That way, in a match where both teams won the same amount of rounds (2 each) and where one side has a larger amount of tickets, the match does not result in a draw, but in a victory for the side which has more tickets.
In short, the number of remaining tickets of a team is the first thing the referees look at when determining the winner of a match. The number of rounds won comes right after in the unlikely event of a tie for the number of remaining tickets for both teams.

Below is a recap of the point system to be used for the upcoming league:

1) Victory (V) = 3 points
2) Draw (D) = 1 point
3) Loss (L) = 0 point
4) Penalties = -1 point

This file is a compressed 7Z file, simply unzip the file to any location on your computer. Once the file is unzipped, navigate to BF1942 Mini League Tank Maps > Client and cut and paste all the maps there to your levels folder, located by default at C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\Mods\bf1942\Archives\bf1942\levels\.
Alternatively, if you already have the TL Tank Ladder maps from BF-League installed on your computer, you can simply install the two new maps that were made for this tournament, tl_agheila and tl_hellendoorn.
